Setting goals

HI GUYS,

So then for a update: have I behaved????
In all honesty NO. So I resisted the biscuits, chocolates and what not at work. I even resisted the urge to buy all things sweet from the supermarket. Until Wednesday: what happened on wednesday:::: my aunties ( my mum's sister ) came around. In true Kafait family style we cooked a lot and this included lots of sweet deserts and ice cream and cake.....and I just could not resist. However it was a special occasion ( not really). So I was feeling kind of down about it....but then I reminded myself that I only had one scoop of ice cream and didn't touch any of the sweet desserts so it was all okay. That was until Friday.
Friday was a particularly difficult day for me and I decided to indulge in a chocolate glory dessert at Pizza Express. In my defence I did not finish it. Then Saturday I made a trip to the famous Ice stone gelato in Bradford with my friend. On Friday she comforted me with a sugary dessert and on Saturday it was my turn to comfort her with a trip to Ice Stone Gelato.
So during this week I had a moment to reflect: I realised I could not JUST STOP AND CUT OUT ALL THINGS SWEET: JUST LIKE THAT. It is more sensible to set small goals that are more likely to be achieved. So my smart goals for the coming week is this:

  • To not eat chocolates, biscuits, cake for the next seven days
  • Also to not have any fizzy drinks and fruit juices.
I think that is reasonable. I feel I think can definitely achieve this. So I will update you all soon xxxx

Hello

So I have finally managed to set a blog up. I've decided I am going to write about my goal to tackle my sweet tooth....why does the fact I have a sweet tooth bug me so much? Well Mama is diabetic and so were both sets of grandparents and also the fact I have no discipline what so ever when it comes to all things sweet: chocolate, biscuits and cake and trifles and pudding...so I have set myself a personal challenge..60 days without sugar..I will try to write about it as often as possible and will also explore my emotional attachment to sweet things. Thanks for reading.
